The Elizabethan Comfort Modification Package is a supplement to our Elizabethan Comfort pattern.
This pattern includes printed paper pattern pieces and instructions for adapting the Comfort patterns' "Loose Gown" into a number of different styles from various places and cultures in the second half of the 16th Century.
THIS PATTERN IS A DIGITAL DOWNLOAD.
The package includes:
Instructions for cutting the Comfort Gown in any length you choose, from fingertip to floor length, adding a train, or lengthening the side gores.
Neckline modifications, including a curved band collar, a standing collar, a V neck, or an open front.
Sleeve Options, in two lengths with opening variations, a shoulder wing, and a short puffed sleeve.
The pattern includes an 85 page instruction manual. All sizes from 2-28 are provided.
IMPORTANT! Please remember that this is NOT a stand alone pattern. If you don't have the 005D Elizabethan Comfort pattern, it will not be useful to you.
The pattern is a digital download, and comes with PDF files in a zip file. They include:
- The front and back cover pages of the pattern
- The instruction manual
- A PDF form with instructions on how to assemble the tiled pattern
- A PDF file with the pattern on a 36 inch wide sheet that can be printed at your local copy shop
- A PDF file with the pattern tiled to be printed on a home printer in US Letter and a second PDF file for A4.
DO NOT download the zip file to your phone. It must be downloaded to a computer.
